Manoy's Heroic Work :D
When I was in college, I usually spend my free time in a chapel. Not becoz I’m that religious but for the reasons: it’s a cool place to study with fresh air and cool music from the choirs who’re playing piano. And I also loved to chat with low, cool, down to earth personalities(pssssttt I hate to be with some social types and some boastful people)….Like manoy who’s the care taker of the chapel. He’s so cool that he shared his life’s experience…He told me that he’s the only one that’s not professional in his brothers and sisters. He’s the eldest and he’s working hard for his family. He worked as a janitor in the chapel for such a long time. And, he’s able to send her younger brothers and sisters to school. Until they finished courses with his support…(ISN’T THIS COOL AND HERIOC THING?!?). And also, since he’s gifted w/a cool, nice voice, sometimes, he’d join some singing contest and when he’d win, he’d share his prize to his family….VERY COOL!….’Til the time comes,the youngest graduated from college….he’s being asked if he wanted to continue his studies. His answer was….it’s enough for him to see all of his brothers and sisters graduate in college and have a good job and have a good life. He will be happy for it and that’s the greatest dream he ever had in his life. And by watching all of them living happily and being a professional, it doesn’t matter for him to remain as a janitor for the rest of his life.
Huhuhu, A VERY TOUCHING THING & yet A GOOD LESSON IN LIFE. And after the youngest graduate, that’s the time, manoy got married to a very lovely woman and right now, he is blessed with very handsome kids.
I salute your great heroic deeds for your family. It’s one in a million.
