All about filing taxes (self-employed)
My husband doesn’t like dishonesty. He said that whatever earnings, it should be declared in filing taxes. Whether my earnings don’t have pay slips or with pay slips, it should be counted. In fact, even with the 10 dollars interests that we have in our bank account last 2007, he filed tax for it. So, with this, I’m counting my all my earnings and all my expenses. I am just earning a few last 2008 but I’m thankful with it for I’m able to send something for my family in PH without asking money from my husband. Also, I’m able to give gifts to everybody during birthdays and special occasions. Anyway, with my expenses, I spend like $1,600+ and this includes in buying my domains for blogging and for parking, domain parking payment, internet security, web hosting, and other expenses that will serve like business expense. And my husband will deduct it from my taxable income so as to save a little in paying my taxes. I also read at IRS dot GOV’s (http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/article/0,,id=98846,00.html) website and check for Self-employed individuals. Actually, I don’t know how to compute yet. I’ll just rely on my husband since he knows about it. All I did is print all the receipts that I have in my PayPal to show that my expenses are true. Well, that’s all I have since I’m using my PayPal mainly in purchasing everything whether it’s online and I’m using PayPal debit card when purchasing at the store. I’ll just post my exact tax that I’m going to pay when my husband will be finished computing our entire family tax.
