In processing immigration papers
Husband and I got married in the Philippines. When I was still in there, my husband planned to ask help and assistance from immigration attorneys or just process the immigration papers for me all by himself. Husband was just worried that time, since they said that when married, it’s so hard to petition the wife. And there are lots of advices that it’s best to petition the woman using fiancée visa. But with our situation, the Conditional Residence 1 (CR1) is just less than 1 year. And that’s what I’m thankful for that husband wasn’t having a hard time petitioning me with the CR1. He also processed K3 papers but he got result of CR1 first so that’s why we go with it. And those were the papers husband processed for me before.
How about you? What papers did your partner processed for you? Do you have a quick result? Did you ask assistance from immigration attorneys?
Whatever it is, the important thing is you are with your husband right now. Whether it’s quick result or not, the good thing is you are together right now!
But for those who are still processing, if you are having a hard time with your papers, don’t hesitate to ask assistance from immigration attorneys for they do all the process and everything about immigrations!
