I love watching the Los Angeles Lakers perform their magic on the court. I go to as many games as possible, but before leaving the house I set my home security alarm system (ADT security Columbia pricing). My friend Jim picks me up for each game and asks if I set the alarm. It’s a ritual. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the Staples Center, and we always get there early. It’s another ritual. Watching the games on TV is cool, but being there is an entirely different experience. The atmosphere has such a powerful energy that it’s hard not to get pumped up. We cruise through the Fox Sports Bar and order a tall one, and then we watch the Laker Girls do their dances. Wow!

We talk hoops during the shoot-around, especially about matchups and who poses the biggest threat. We love to hate the other teams and we let them know it. The Lakers usually end up winning, but not without sending us up and down the rollercoaster. We’re hoping that this season turns out like the previous two, and come June of 2011 the Lakers will be cruising down Figueroa while celebrating a third consecutive NBA championship. Kobe, Lamar, Pau, and D-Fish are saying that this will be the hardest one to win. If they stay healthy, I like their chances. Go Lakers!
